Air Tool – Top Terminals

SHORT VIDEO ABOVE shows the flexibility of tube and specs below of the three main terminals used in Australia.

All our Terminal Assemblies have been engineered to deliver liquids in-furrow with specific selection of component materials that are tough, resistant to harsh chemicals and last for years.

Friction tube: (Air Tool Option)

Broad application range. Able to handle viscous materials and tolerance to material build-up within the system. Large bore to allow passage of particles. Resistance (back-pressure) to stabilise system delivery achieved via length of friction tube. — Refer to Flow & Resistance Charts HERE

Line meters: (Air Tool and Row Crop Planter Option)

Line Meters are the in-line restrictive device. Custom designed with tapered ‘choke’ to eliminate ‘dead spots’. Tight and very predictable application control with differing viscosity liquids. Refer to Flow & Resistance Charts HERE

Air Tool – FIBP (Friction Tube)

  • 5mm OD x 1.2 ID Yellow friction terminal tube

Fits to 3/8” (9.53mm) OD x 1/4” (6.2.7mm) ID stainless steel delivery tube (not included).

Permits large bore. Ultra-low to high application range. Ability to apply difficult materials. No Line meter is used with this option as back pressure is created via line friction – the longer the line the higher the back pressure.

 

Air Tool – DBS FIBP (Friction Tube)

  • 8-4mm Stem Reducer
  • 4mm OD x 1.8 ID Purple (30mm Length) terminal tube
  • 4-3mm Stem Reducer
  • 12 x 3mm Gable Gland
  • 1/4″ V3 Rubber union
  • 3mm OD x 1.2 ID Orange friction terminal tube

Fits to 1/4” (6.35mm) OD stainless steel delivery tube (not included). Permits large bore. Ultra-low to high application range. Ability to apply difficult materials. No Line meter is used with this option as back pressure is created via line friction-the longer the line the higher the back pressure.This was originally designed with DBS liquid ready points in mind. However, this assembly attaches to most commercial 6.35mm (1/4”) stainless steel delivery tubes. The 3mm LLDPE terminal tube passes directly through 1/4″ tube.
