Why go Liquid?

Research has shown that furrow banding of liquid fertilizers under a wide variety of conditions will produce better results for the same units of N & P. There has been a great deal of research into the use of liquid fertilizers and some of the reasons for better efficiency discovered include:

• Higher availability of nutrients to the plant.
• Less volatilization.
• Better mobility within the soil.
• The ability to accurately apply fertilizer at the correct depth and distance from the seed.
• Less fixation of fertilizer in the soil.

Product Dosing

Another great advantage of using liquid fertilizers is the ability to utilize them as carriers for trace elements, fungicides and other chemicals. With liquid fertilizers, trace elements or fungicides can be directly injected into the main output line to the distribution system.

With the use of liquid fertilizer technology, farmers are now able to perform seeding as a single pass operation. The benefits from fuel savings, reduced man hours and reduced traffic on paddocks can give a huge return on capital investment.
